Lowkey Kendrick’s still trying way too hard to look like the savior still. He used gang violence to make it ā€œnot about Drakeā€ and just about ā€œuniting the peopleā€ but in reality the people killing each other over gangs will still kill each other they don’t gaf about what a rapper says. He might’ve united his homies but he’s not stopping all street beefs in LA with that. Drake ain’t their opp. Drake can probably still go to LA too. Watch him pull another 100 music video

Niggas at the 100 video shoot said Drake was scared bro

Do you legit think one person is "ending all gang wars" in their region during a 3 hour show?

It was just a symbol of peace and unity. He isn’t naive enough to think it’ll have any lasting difference.

Also, what's wrong with a rapper tryna do something positive for their hometown? Am I missing something lmaooo

Hey Huge ICP Fan, gotta correct you there. Last night at the forum, Kendrick’s show was epic. Dr. Dre showed up and they absolutely killed it together, making the night unforgettable. Kendrick’s performances of "DNA" and "HUMBLE" were off the charts, and the crowd was going wild. This wasn’t just about trying to look like a savior; it was pure, unfiltered artistry and a testament to his impact on music and culture.

Niggas is complaining that different sets put their differences aside to celebrate.

More like just trying to ā€œbe the bigger manā€ as this TOTALLY wasn’t all about eliminating Drake it was all about ā€œunity šŸ¤—ā€ and Drake was threatening that unity so he had to be taken out. Nah Kendrick just gotta admit he was being puppeted in the shadows by XO. It was never about Unity when it first started but he made that the narrative last minute cause it’s in his brand to be the savior of the culture

I'm not gonna lie I straight up do not listen to radio or playlists so I can't really comment on how big In My Feelings really was or engage meaningfully because it personally was not big for me lol

To me all the songs we're talking about were equally big

Then you dont know what you talking about

to be honest, i question if he can even replicate FATD's success with a handful of one week #1s and songs that last for less than five weeks in the top ten. only time will tell i guess.

I do agree, that state of the charts at the time will always play a part, cause a 1 week #1 for him still ain't terribly difficult if the charts are weak, but even FAT D's #1 had help from big name features

I honestly am ready for him to make music without the attempts and desire to chart chase I want more projects in the vein of HNVM and the R&B tracks off FAT D before he bloated it for hit chasing.
