@pimpin where you at nigga? Talk to s*** king.
Still soaking it all in, got a thread ready for later, incredible. Salute to all Kendrick fans, this was a celebration for all of us who have been waiting for this moment. Beautiful, I can hardly find the right words.
Shouts to all K.Dot fans. Appreciate yall real talk. We made it! Incredible
LA still corny. NYC better
They better at having rat infestations
They don't matter, especially in the context it was being used by drake fans in 2022
The thing is you canāt engage in a conversation about sales and then just say sales donāt matter
If sales dont matter donāt engage in sales conversations and only focus on the music.
Sales donāt determine quality whatsoever, but that doesnāt mean sales are a thing people canāt a***yze and discuss especially people who are interested in the business of music. If sales dont matter then donāt engage in sales arguments ever and strictly stick to quality
I think both sides get them conflicted like its one argument when they are completely different arguments
Dot shouldve had Big Hit perform this last night
f*** it

Drake will create a BIGGER and BETTER moment in Toronto!
Please personally tag me when that happens
Drake will create a BIGGER and BETTER moment in Toronto!

Wildest thing is, C***from the Third Reich gonna be arguing until itās 2/3am his time. Buddy got gome from work and couldnāt wait to clock into his second job
it didn't help that we were in a weird cultural stasis where nobody really cared about anything current that was happening. a kate bush song from the 80s had more weeks in the top ten than most of the "hits" that came out that year. i think mr. morale would have spawned a few hits if it came out today, since it seems like people are listening to new music again.
Mr Morale had a weird rollout too, if it woulda did it a lil different he woulda easily sold over 300k since he almost did anyways.
Won't lie, kind of a missed opportunity for Kendrick to not perform i at the end of the show. Feel like that would've been a great moment with all the sets on stage.
Tbh I wish a lot of Kendrick fans didnāt take the numbers dont matter at all approach during Mr Morale not because they determine the quality of the album but it just fed the album was a flop narrative. That album performed well even if it wasnt as much as people were expecting
When an artist like Kendrick deliberately makes music that is far removed from what the mainstream would play itās fair to bring up in my opinion.
Drake has made every album for pop consumption. He drops multiple times a year. He uses writers and clams into trends.
Itās unfair to use that against someone who drops when he doesnāt have writers block and would put a song like mother I sober on an album instead of some of his more mainstream unreleased songs.
Kendrick proved in this battle that he could play that game. Drake has 200 plus more songs than Kendrick

wouldve been TOO much for juneteenth if you get me

The most listened to albums are from 2021/2022 so people are still listening to old music. I think thereās too much at once so weāre all stuck in a nostalgia vacuum rn or songs/albums that have had time to breathe even if something new comes along
Shout out the crowd they were fire.
Do you think Steph got the Lebron ""You cannot get up on that stage Drake is your friend, it would make him feel awful" treatment from Ayesha at home?
Drake stans think posting pictures of Mexicans at Kendrickās show and being like ālook at the crowd šā is supposed to prove a point.
Just exposing themselves as racists lol.
Dre got a weird case, why is he around

we already canceled Dre, he hates his fans

Tbf if we talking about this site, when morale had multiple threads and drake stans calling it a flop and bad album because of its sales for two years, naturally kendrick outselling in this beef is gonna get an appropriate response
Its moreso been used as a petty tool to banter back with a taste of their own medicine. F*** all this being the better person s***

Kendrick dropped the ball when it came to promoting the album too. Die Hard couldāve definitely been a summer hit if he pushed it for radio and had a video attached, but he oddly enough didnāt do it.
