Here’s a post I made 2 years ago going into detail on every track. Obviously this was a reply to someone else so some of this don’t apply to you

Igor’s Theme - He looped a drumbreak and added all the other instrumentation. The synths he did on this song are beautiful and for op to say “I’ll give him his 5 saturated synth notes” is just straight up hating for no reason

Earfquake - Completely original

I Think - He used a drumbreak and interpolated the song “special lady”. Of course they sound similar, he literally interpolated the song. But I don’t see how this qualifies as a ripoff. I Think doesn’t sound exactly like what was interpolated. Dre and Ye interpolated songs all the time to get around having to clear the sample. The sample in All Falls Down is replayed and uses the lyrics from it same as this. You gonna call that a rip off?

Running Out Of Time - Completely Original. Only thing sampled is a vocal saying “Run” from a Run DMC song

New Magic Wand - Used a drumbreak, Everything else is original. I have no idea why op said this is basically just a cover like what the f*** are you talking about

A Boy Is A Gun - A chopped and looped sample with some added synths towards the end. Not really different than what Ye did with the sample. Tyler was also originally involved in the making of the original Bound

Puppet - He chopped up a sample and added other instrumentation to it. There is parts where he lets the sample breath more tho. Still nothing crazy if you like dudes like Madlib or Alchemist who do this all the time. Then another sample in the end used similarly to how Ye did on New Slaves where it’s mostly just a short piece of a song as the outro

What’s Good - Uses a drumbreak, everything else is original
Gone Gone, Thank You - For Gone Gone he sampled a song and added his own elements. I don’t see how this is directly a rip off. Of course the chords and melody are the same it’s literally a sample of another song, this is what sampling is lmao. For the The Thank You part he replayed part of the sample and used lyrics. However what tyler did is different sounding than the original idk why op is acting like tyler did nothing original on this

I Don’t Love You Anymore - He chopped a sampled and added his own elements. The sample is mainly just drums tho. This how most samples are used. For some reason Op says this is the most original song on the album which doesn’t even make sense since there are multiple other songs with no samples or songs that just used a drum break

Are We Still Friends? - He looped a large part of an Al Green song for this. There is some minor additional instrumentation tho. This the only one I can see what Op is saying but Tyler’s done similar things with Lone on wolf and the second beat on Smuckers. And once again the whole outro of New slaves does this exact thing. It’s Ye and Frank singing over an old song
On the cover he says all songs “written, produced and arranged by him”

He interpolated some lyrics but everything else is still him. Obviously he didn’t write some of the features lyrics but we know what he meant by saying this

He still produced everything. The only songs that are mostly just loops are A Boy Is A Gun and Are We Still Friends (which still counts as producing). Everything else is Original, Just used a drumbreak, or sampled a song and added his own elements
Obviously he arranged the structure of the songs

Was writing that on the cover a little egotistical? Yeah but clearly he was proud of this album

Nah Gods is different. Gods an religion organized whether oppressing others or not makes sense because people are using it to cope with death, famine , pain in our universe. Standom thinking artist can do no wrong is more hedodnism. Its obsession its the fans I see at Lana Del Rey shows with hand drawn maps of exactly where she will come down to see front row and their gifts preparedd for her.

I follow ye things that arent the music to know about them but him like any artist I recognize that is someone else life that is out of control all I can ever do is hope if a crime is committed it sees court or poeple get their closure for the truth one war or the other

Again I care about war criminals lol . I care about things where someone is openly saying I am a terrrible person an not receiving consequences. The accusations all have to see a judge I am just a guy

too often the internet wants to become the judge on things that dont involve us or that will be debated forever

the way drake fans are behaving you would swear this was a close battle of wits

What I meant was filling the emptiness of life with some meaning. Some people do it with religion and in our time people do it with obsession with celebrities.

I used to follow Ye on everything too and if something pops up on my feed about him, I will look at it. But being a fan of Ye was actually what thought me to never attach yourself too close with any artist. And in that sense it is probably a good thing that Ye is my favorite artist.
Drake upholds the illusion of being a calculated and smart guy. So for his stans, it is harder to look behind the illusion because his image is so well put together that it is harder to see the cracks behind it.
