With the whole wack 100 and Nipsey Hussle situation going on it made me reflect on what a legend truly is. And I came to the realization that Drake and Kendrick are the only two artists from the blog era that deserve the status of Legend. I feel like the term is thrown around so loosely that people are actually calling people like Meek Mill Chief Keef and Wiz Khalifa Legends. To me a legend means you have to have one a more classic albums critical Acclaim commercial success accomplishments influence impact and longevity. Every good artist or artists that you like is not a legend. & last but not least dying why you're hot does not make you a legend. If you didn't call somebody a legend while they were alive don't do it after they died. Its okay to acknowledge an artist as a great or good artist not everybody has to be classified as a legend.
