Im glad people realized Kendrick is on a whole different tier compared to Drake and Cole when it comes to writing and rapping. Someone said he’s in the same tier as Hov and I agree.

I've never believed Cole's claims of greatness. He tries too hard to convince the listener when he gets on that s*** and it comes off like he's trying to convince even himself in the process.

Drake made claims to being the greatest as far back as 2009 and then put in the work year after year to follow through on his claims. I can say the same about Kendrick.

We're in 2026 and Cole still thinks he deserves stars for trying to be the most lyrically impressive, like that's all we should care about. This is what happened with Eminem as well as time passed. He forget the utility of making records and leaned entirely on trying to be impressive lyrically and got upset when folks simply stopped giving a f*** about that s***, forgetting that what made in unique to begin with was that he could rap his ass off AND make great records doing so.

J Cole is still one of the greats and one of my favorite artists. But Kendrick is overall the better rap artist
