    I just think J cole sucks honestly

    this is the first thing i’ve listened to of his in awhile and i was reminded just how much i dislike hearing him

    I feel like one thing dot and drake do better than Cole is how not to rap just to rap. Like I feel that Cole be rapping just to rap sometimes respectively Drake and dot figured out in their own ways to make extremely meaningful songs with lyrics that stick without going too lyrical tbh

    I feel like this gets overstated just because he's been more on that timing since off season but his whole career has been making meaningful songs while being lyrical. Thats what he's best known for.

    He only made that pivot because he wanted to emulated a mixtape approach and be braggadocious. And even with that you still have songs like let go my hand, close, and trae truth in Ibiza.

    So rather than thinking he just added one more song you believe he made that tape after beef started and didn't already have 11 songs ready to drop?

    My point exactly, he doesn't hate either of them. Whether you agree with the reason or not it doesn't erase 15+ years of heat.

    They are on par with each other in my opinion. I think drake, Cole and Kendrick all offer different styles at the same level. I know Cole catches flack for being a bit “boring” but their talent levels are all S-tier
