    2017: Drake does 500k with a mixtape
Kendrick fans: Drake flopped. DAMN outsold he on his way out!!

2018: Drake does 750K with an album no bundles, no physicals
Kendrick fans: Drake flopped. DAMN did 650k with half the tracks Kendrick about to surpass him for sure.

2021: Drake does 600K with an album, no bundles, no physicals, no promo prior to drop.
Kendrick fans: Lowest since his debut album

    2022: Kendrick does 350k
Kendrick fans: Man y'all so weird worried about charts and sales narratives

Bro i never got the More Life (Playlist/Mixtape that dropped on a Saturday - 5.5 days of sales) comparison to DAMN.

Noone was comparing comp album Untitled, Unmastered doing 170K in 2016 to Views 1.04M

Drake's been making his brand of music since jump because that's what he WANTS to make. He doesn't need to make a fake deep, left field album to prove anything to anybody and that's what some of you weirdos still don't understand.

All trolling and trash talk aside it would be cool to see Drake actually go left field and make less safe music. But he gotta keep trying to fit in with street niggas and cater to the pop crowd. Drake show flashes of greatness, I just hate he isn’t consistent with it.

So music made for reddit and suburbs?

Drake has several good albums and makes good music. He doesn't need to go left field to make good music.
