Isn't it fair enough to say she's already a superstar? She has the biggest era for a female album so far this decade and she's performing at sold out arenas on her tour. She has arrived. It'd be nice to have a third album solidify that status, but I think she's here.

I think Sour was a bigger era than Future Nostalgia, Olivia was like Taylor in her 1989 era. I guess you could say Dua is already a superstar but I think she's bigger internationally than she is in North America maybe the numbers prove me wrong. I hope she drops another great album and goes all out on the promo in her next era. She could take the crown if she plays her cards right

    Look at that GOAT

No surprise there. Drake barely outstreamed him yesterday even with the new album.

He needs to push Massive asap, that's the hit here. Drop a video full of hot girls and have Chicken Shop girl dancing in it lol.

And before it falls, a remix with Dua . Then back to rap, PLEASE.

I love Down Hill the most on the album. I hope that becomes a hit somehow but it seems like Massive is the song that's taking off online.

Yeah, I would be surprised if Massive is not the next single.

I’ve always preferred singing drake over rapping so this album clicked with me instantly. I just feel if he dropped it back then maybe the reception for it would be a bit more positive idk. Def need SH3 ASAP tho.

Oh right, yeah. If he'd dropped this back then, it would have been received a lot better. People were expecting rap Drake and got dance Drake. I'm not surprised it turned a lot of people off. Even I had a very intense initial reaction to the album

Y’all think if Drake drop another dud it’s over as far as being big dawg? Cause tbh it’s Drake, the genre of music isn’t the issue, it’s the actual content that’s putting people off. I think this the first time since views people got on his ass fr but even then he had HLB and one dance so it was like whatever.

Kendrick’s album was anything but boring, and I got Covid two weeks ago along with 8 other people in my office.

S*** is still running rampant, they just got everyone they needed to take the vaccine so they could cash a check and move onto the next transfer of wealth so it isn’t in the media as much.

Of course Covid is still around, but people can do whatever they want now. It's completely different to how we were months ago.

I think Kendrick's is boring as hell, but his fans will enjoy it I guess. I see it as his worst but I'm not really a fan anyway. I like GKMC Kenny.

I think metro confirmed knife talk was literally tacked on last second. It blew up though so I guess it works

I was very shocked that it was the song people connected with lol. But like you said, it worked and that's all that matters at the end of the day.

Is the biggest Drake song on Billboard right now a song of him rapping or singing (Wait For U)

I feel like the way artists drop the entire album at once seeing what becomes the hit isn't working. There's maybe 4 or 5 different hits on this Drake album that will all eat into each others streams and fizzle out before any of them could take off. We need to go back to singles and rollouts so albums aren't coming and going so fast. MMBS would've been bigger if N95 and Die Hard came out months before the rest of the album. Then push Silent Hill after that. Drake and Kendrick should not be flopping like this

FN was bigger than Sour globally, that's for sure and she also has massive US hits in Don't Start Now/Levitating. I think they're pretty on par. Dua just didn't get two #1 debuts and didn't score a massive album debut so it looks like her album era wasn't as big but it really was and I hope she has a huge era with her next album as well.

I want a mix of rap and R&B like always. His guest verses have been fire lately, that's why I had big hopes for his next album, still do since I don't consider this a Drake album lol

I hope he doubles down with another non-rap full project. This album is his first flop so another one won't matter. The man has enough success for 5 careers. I'm here for him trying whatever the f*** he wants to do at this point in his career. He can always drop another rap album later.

This flop was a blessing for Drake. He can now keep making the music that he wants without worrying about the numbers.

It might be the opposite, he could go back to making his old style of music

Maybe but I don't mind it. I love taking in entire albums as opposed to singles.

But who's going to take Drake and Kendrick's spots now that they flop? lol Eminem? Lil Baby? There aren't many big rappers nowadays, and they locked the one using a meme to sell his album.

Lil Baby and Gunna, more generic trap, great

Wonder if Travis will also flop, which is very possible.

I don't mind it. I still don't really care for the autotune he used but Lil Baby is hands down one of the best rappers in the game right now lyrically.
