The internet obsession with the trenches/hood is so wild to me. You got actual niggas from those environments that want no parts but you got squares on the internet glorifying that life and making it seem like living in poverty make you more authentic or whatever. A lot of these dudes would be shocked if they were to ever visit a hood. Some of the music they say don’t get bumped will have them going crazy when they see it ain’t all just Durk, Lil Baby and other street rappers that get played.
i literally went into a bad part of Jersey sometime last summer and i saw so many crackhead zombies and meth heads that it was nauseating
it isn't anything to glorify or celebrate at all, niggas literally bent over stuck in place the whole nine yardsthere was a nigga smoking crack out of his pipe and dancing outside a gas station he was working at brazenly too
