I like knife talk. but no way are those songs on the same level as One Dance or Nice For What and Gods Plan for casual fans

Maybe he can get back to that with features though. Wait for You feels more in line with those old Drake hits
That's what makes it even more impressive to me that it has been selling like crazy. Still in the top 10 almost a year later despite no standout hits.
But yeah the ONLY thing I am a bit worried about with Drake is the fact that his singles/loosies don't hit like they used to, they come and go quite quickly

Drake dropped a better album than Kendrick and also outsold him, he really s***ting on all of his competition
May 14, 2022I don't think these are bad numbers for Kendrick but I love watching some posters on this site doing the most mental gymnastics, flailing and being pressed about this.

people still love drake so I can see why and people were excited for CLB, so that's what got the album in rotation for them initially. but I'm just saying people might be a bit less hype for the next Drake album if they feel like he hasn't given them a classic hit in 4 years. he used to do that for casual fans pretty much every year

CLB may be one of drake's worst albums but it's not a bad album at all, and in general his albums are hypercritized because of his popularity and in general age really really well.
You can't tell me about how bad they are while completely ignoring how much people like them.

I like drake so i dont mind to be wrong , it just his last album really threw me offIt's not my favorite Drake album, and by drake standards I agree.
But I think expecting a decline of over 300K is a bit extreme. He's maybe the greatest pop rap act of all time. The next album will undoubtedly have a gigantic single, plus it's Drake. The moment he says he's dropping, the anticipating from that point alone will guarantee at least half a million.

With a hot single, I can see him going back to Views levels. I genuinely miss nothing was the same era though
