I mean on one hand I didn't think it was that serious, mostly just an exaggerated mostly-joking jab at someone who had probably just accidentally used the wrong symbol without thinking about it too much. Saw a chink in the armor and took a shot.

On the other hand... know your strengths and where you can excel and surpass others in arguments and heated forum discussions, which for me would be IQ and income - personal stats that many value. Those are especially important when nobody is actually listening to the logical points of the different sides of the discussion. I was actually trying to dispel tension by jumping into the (already unproductive) discussion with completely ridiculous notions like ranking all of us by income, banning all but the top twenty earners, etc. Just being kind of ludicrous and over-the-top to turn the tables on people who weren't listening to reason to begin with honestly, nevermind
