And very little updates about statistics on Spotify. But we were getting them daily a month ago
To be fair, an obvious mega flop doesn’t need stats updates.
Drake not caring and making whatever the hell he wants to make is a W. Meanwhile, Kendrick dropping a personal album is an L.
Makes sense.
No, Kendrick dropping a personal album isn't an L. He did what he wanted to do. That can never be an L.
It's an L because he could have come back with something more mainstream to take advantage of all the hype he'd built up in his absence and THEN drop the personal album. He only has one massive album era under his belt. Drake has like 6 so he can afford to go left and try some weird s***. Kendrick dipped at the peak of his hype and returned with something that killed that hype even more. Wrong move imo.
But like I said back then, he'll be fine. His next album will most likely perform better than MMATBS so it's all good.
I’m expecting to to sell somewhere between Gunna and Future sales, I think he hasn’t created much demand for his album like that since he features literally everywhere nowadays.
I don't agree but fair enough.
Man, Drake stans really can't use the "Numbers = quality" argument anymore
Why would he do this to his own fans
i fw this new drake album but this has been the best karma for his stans making this site damn near unusable over the last month

I disagree, if anything I believe him being featured on Cole and Ye’s albums (for example) opened up him to new audiences, that may have dismissed his artistry/quality beforehand due to him being from atlanta/rapping over trap beats
That cole featured changed a lot of people’s tunes, esp if they weren’t already tapped in

@BigDckBandit already said this but we need an unbiased OP for the billboard thread. A lot of users come to this thread for news on stats. it’s messed up that OP purposely omits information when her favorite artist isn’t winning.
They sleep and wake up with me on their minds. It's very disturbing tbh.
I have a wacky sleep schedule. I’m sure you can relate being unemployed and all

Good point, but we gon see next month. It just feel like he not gonna do 250+ in this climate.
Drake stans become experts on genres they never touched in their life the second drake appropriate them

let artists make what they want
kendrick clearly doesnt give af about making an album thats gonna give him some monstrous fw sales.
if he did he would have just dropped damn again rather than dropping some s*** that some people wouldnt dare to play around anyone else.

Either way, I’m hyped. Been waiting on that album since last year

BTS is the biggest pop group rn and they barely sold more than Kendrick lol
There are some accessible hit songs on MMTBS. Idk what you trying to say
I know it's not Friday yet but what do y'all think Chris Brown's album will do first week? I'm thinking 80-100k.
Hint: his last album that had No Guidance did 108k first week.
