Still mysterious music that pop radio won’t play.
Meanwhile Drake making Calvin Harris songs and getting Chainsmokers numbers.
I don’t think any of these songs sound like Calvin Harris music tbh
I don’t think any of you guys actually listened to the album lol
And I say that as someone who thinks this project is trash
Kendrick stans trolled for less than a week and took this s*** from like 900 pages to almost 1500 pages. That's how pathetic y'all were in that short amount of time. All the Drake stans "trolling" didn't even exceed 300 pages and it was spread out over multiple weeks and included talk about Harry's album. All most people did was call the album mid. Y'all got personal quick and s*** got crazy weird so everyone just left because no one could even have a sensible discussion. The useless "Doja Cat is a rapper" debate took another 400 pages and the remaining pages were talks about Future's album & Bad Bunny/Jack Harlow's album.
I remember these days…they aged me badly

The Chainsmokers sold 10k for their latest album
Wtf are you talking about?
Meanwhile Kendrick’s album with We Cry Together, Auntie Diaries, Mother I Sober, etc. was all about targeting sales.
The fact is Kendrick outsold a summer dance project from the “biggest artist in rap” with a mysterious personal album.
You really trying to call that Kendrick album mysterious
You really trying to call that Kendrick album mysterious
For lack of a better term. It’s certainly not conventional.
Drake stans have been clowning and ridiculing every artist that doesnt meet sales expectations and s***ting on artists but couldnt take a few days of heat
Like idk how yall cant admit that yall set yourselves up for this to happen

He’s gonna be closer to that number then Bunny’s and Harry’s.

Sure closer to 10K than 500K
But not closer than 270K
Some people really just be saying s***
For lack of a better term. It’s certainly not conventional.
Eh, pretty overblown to say its unconventional IMO
For lack of a better term. It’s certainly not conventional.
It’s similar to DAMN where it alternates between super conventional stuff and more mysterious conscious songs, it’s hard to call it one or the other but for Kendrick it felt relatively conventional since it basically just improved on the DAMN template

You mean the album with N95, Silent Hill, Die Hard, and Rich Spirit on it
You really trying to call that Kendrick album mysterious
Weird trend to call kendrick music mysterious when it has always been surface deep, just thematically consistent
Kenny fans really what we pretended cole fans were
You mean the album with N95, Silent Hill, Die Hard, and Rich Spirit on it
shhh that doesn't fit his narrative lol
theyre all deeply personal songs that no one can play in their car or with friends
You mean the album with N95, Silent Hill, Die Hard, and Rich Spirit on it
I mean yeah those are more conventional obviously but you don’t put the others on an album if sales are a priority.

Calling a song like mother I sober surface deep is some c***shit tbh

My narrative is that neither Drake nor Kendrick were targeting sales for their recent albums and both albums are fantastic. And that’s why clowning artists for sales is not it.
Make an ass project, ass sales will follow
Maybe Drake should take notice, but he got too many yes men around him

then why do you think even those songs are performing really badly?
honestly I think N95 is a great song and it being 47th on US Spotify Daily 200 is f***ing weird. Let alone something like Rich Spirit at 113th
doesn't add up considering the insane popularity DAMN achieved

I feel that but even an album like TPAB wasn't targetting sales yet it had a song or 2 that went pretty big
then why do you think even those songs are performing really badly?

He's lacking presence this time around. Damn had an abundance of that. That's really all it is
Make an ass project, ass sales will follow
Maybe Drake should take notice, but he got too many yes men around him
This is the exact opposite of what people said about CLB so its hilarious to see this nonsense rhetoric
Drake selling less than Kendrick would be an L no matter how you spin it, wild to pretend otherwise lol. That’s not even gonna happen though
