Drakes first day outdid his first 2 Damn. The sales projection could drop
I’m so glad this s***ty ass thread is pinned so drake Stans and whoever doesn’t like the album can come in here and gloat
Kendrick is, critically, the most overrated artist by far. You would think he had his own political party if he was that influential. If you removed the political bias these lib reviewers had he’d be more around an 8/10 - which is still great.
It’s specifically white liberals who are afraid to write the even semi-negative Kenny review (negative in this case is like 8/10). It’s a really good album to me but there are soooo many flaws to point out and explore. Good critics dive into those flaws, and explain why the album is still good despite them. Bad critics just say it’s perfect and move on.
Kendrick completely collapsed on Spotify in the space of 1 day. This album is definitely not doing 350k. It'll be lucky to even do 300k at this point and it definitely isn't doing 400m US streams either. Yikes.

What did Drake do in the us second day? I can find global but not us unless I go back and count but surely it would be close to double kendricks second day

Tbh if I’m an artist, the only criticism I’m listening to is people who have done what I’ve done and have done it well.
The problem with most critics is they have no practical experience in actually making the music they are judging therefore how can you trust that ignorant opinion that can’t think beyond their own ears?
As an artist, I would look at what all fans have to say collectively, but I wouldn’t take one fan’s experience as the end all be all for my album.
Inexperienced Criticism is overrated.

No need to compare this album's numbers to CLB's nunbers because it was never going to do close to what CLB did. Also, CLB completely dominated Apple Music and this album is already falling off after 2 days.
Drake a better song writer than the Beatles itt?
yall feeling yourselves a bit too much now
