It’s an artistic choice double album, not a sales targeted double album like say Morgan Wallen’s album. The double album part is irrelevant to sales when it comes to Kendrick.

Kendrick actually made it a triple disc to boost the streams after it came out so I doubt he cares about doing the artistic choice more than how much it sells
