bigger than the top 3
feels weird to just turn this into some stan wars thread lol we can do better than that. But there was also Post stans saying he's gonna do huge numbers, s*** only 3 years ago loads of them were saying he's gonna take Drake's spot.
with Kendrick & Drake it's clear they can easily do higher numbers with their next albums... But with Post Malone it isn't as clear anymore, all of his singles since HB did eh & even the song with Doja Cat on the latest album really isn't doing that great.
this is an artist with 2 of the top 5 most streamed spotify albums of all time...going from that to this new album is insane.
Post stans barely said it the way Kendrick and Drake stans did it all the time, theres a reason why both fanbases are getting attacked on here

Nah he has lots of stans but the promotion for his newest album was so s***ty that like 50% of the people tweeted stuff like βPost Malone dropped a new album? I didnt know about thisβ

I respect Bad Bunny so much because he actually speaks English but only records in Spanish to show solidarity he couldβve pandered like BTS but his integrity is why his fanbase so strong
Man Iβll always be bummed that BTS released Dynamite - Butter - Permission to Dance β¦ They would have eventually gotten a number one song on the Billboard anyway (Life Goes On is in korean)β¦
A lot of my asian (and especially korean) friends donβt really f*** with these songs and the fact they went fully english too
Itβs interesting how they reflected on these releases and admitted they lost themselves with these singles which eventually lead to their hiatus/split
Can you do the same for all genres?

Yeah. At least we're getting rap Drake again soon with Scary Hours 3. Maybe one of the songs will blow up like last time.
I wonder if SH3 will be another 3-4 pack or a full-length release.
I wonder if SH3 will be another 3-4 pack or a full-length release.
I expect 2-3 tracks, and then hopefully, a typical Drake album later this year or early 2023.
I agree
My preference would be she admit that and that she's helped to foster toxic thread environment that we can move on from but don't see that happening.
Instead we just gonna get something bout 5 years and that the Drake album was really just a side project so u can't compare
It's not that deep tho just it's still funny
This thread was toxic long before Kendrick's album dropped.

I hope its 4 so it can chart π€£

You expect Drake to drop 3 times this year? Really? HN, SH3 AND another album? If he drops SH3 later this year, he's not dropping early next year.
I hope it's like 6 tracks.
nah cause then people gonna act different

More music + figures > people acting different

One, he just had his biggest flop and 2, I don't consider SH a project, it's like a DLC lol
And I miss Drake's music a lot, just like before he dropped HN
Well damn. Ain't even know. Respect to him for not bending over to devilspeak

Because you miss his music doesn't mean he'll drop 3 times in less than 6 months. That's simply not happening.
I think he'll let the new album rock out till the end of summer at least and then maybe drop SH3. If any other music will come, it'll be through features.
nah cause then people gonna act different
How? I think 6 tracks is a good balance. You feed the rap fans without doing too much and then he can pivot again to another sound next year if he wants.

we gonna get comparisons again
