Either that or they'll crown them as the ones to outdo Drake/overtake him instead of just celebrating their success independent of Drake and then they get mad when those artists eventually lose their momentum and Drake fans call it out. They've championed over a dozen artists as the ones to outdo Drake and those artists have all fallen off. Drake stans call it out and they see it as them going at those artists when it's really just a classic case of "I told you so."
