A Drake album performed better in countries where there all literally no Spanish speakers. Wow what a mind blowing a***ysis from Zack From The Six.
So why are y'all acting like "global" only means the US + Spanish-speaking countries? Y'all say he's the biggest artist in the world when he isn't the biggest in any of that 10 biggest music markets in the world:
1. United States
2. Japan
3. United Kingdom
4. Germany
5. France
6. China
7. South Korea
8. Canada
9. Australia
10. Italy
There's 0 Spanish-speaking countries in the top 10 biggest music markets and that's where he's the biggest, yet y'all wanna argue about him being the biggest in the world when there are dozens of music markets his music doesn't make a dent in. Make it make sense.

Globally means all the numbers added up. I don’t know why you guys are isolating certain countries. India and China are literally 1/3 of the global population, but they’re not listening to the same music that we do in the West. At least not at the same rate. There’s a reason Un Verano Sin Ti has been at the top of Spotify and Apple Music for months now. It’s being consumed at a rate higher than any other album in the world. You don’t need to be streamed in China if you’re as hot as you are in the US and central/South America.
Divide is the most streamed album of all time on Spotify with 12 billion streams
Un Verano Sin Ti is at 5 billion 2 months after release. Let that sink in.

Love how y'all keep dipping to Spotify numbers, meanwhile, Bad Bunny has never made the top 10 of IFPI's global artists ranking lol. Bad Bunny was the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2020/2021 and yet...

''Free (insert artist)'' is pretty common, I'm thinking specifically when an artist achieves something great. It's crickets when Drake breaks some crazy records or when he releases an album. I remember Drake showing The Weeknd so much love on IG when After Hours dropped but The Weeknd didn't even bother to make an IG story when CLB dropped
You gonna cry about it?
You gonna cry about it?
No but I will remember it. I know who's a real one and who's a fake.

Y’all are hilarious making celebs your entire life LMAOOOOOOOO
For anyone wondering why Bad Bunny is pulling so many streams but is yet to make the top 10 of the IFPI Global Artists Chart, it's because the bulk of his streams are free-tier streams which weigh a lot less than paid-tier streams.
He should make the top 10 this year considering how well his album has performed on Apple Music but yeah.
This thread getting exhausting. Can we go back to the flops, roasts and cool stats

Notice all the people going so hard to prove and discredit a black man from being the #1 artist in the world lol
This site love propping black men up when it’s beneficial to their narratives but be in threads talking down and discrediting other black men lol. I guess using black men/women is just a easy way to score likes.
Bad Bunny is huge, but you don't have to insist that it somehow means Drake isn't lmao. Don't know why some people don't get this. Honestly, Nevermind performed better than Un Verano Sin Ti outside the US. You can check the Wikipedia pages of both albums and see that. Honestly, Nevermind peaked in the top 10 of 23/25 album charts it charted in. Un Verano Sin Ti peaked in the top 10 of 9/20 album charts in charted in.
Musically, Drake is a much bigger global force than Bad Bunny. And I don't know why people are insisting it isn't true because of how strong Bad Bunny is on Spotify. Bad Bunny is massive wherever there are clusters of a Latin population but Drake is still the biggest streaming artist globally when considering all streaming platforms. He's been the biggest streaming artist globally/in the US since 2015.
I know y'all hate Drake's success but there's no need to state alternative facts when all this s*** is easily verifiable. Bad Bunny is on an incredible run. You don't have to put Drake down to acknowledge Bad Bunny's success.
IFPI's 2022 global artist ranking will drop next year and Drake will probably place higher than Bad Bunny (yet again).

the weeknd rarely makes an insta post for anybody's album release. he wouldnt do it for drake just cuz he does it to him. its not a trade off.

Be the change you want to see. Go country to country and tally every stream
