I can’t see him being this hot in 2027
I’ll gladly take a L if he’s still doing these numbers in 5 years.

I'm going to say that Drake isn't that hot anymore in 2027 while Benito is still successful but we will see

When Drake only sell an extra 100k with his next rap album I wonder what excuses will follow

300k first week in 2023 will be probably be the highest first week for rap that year.

I can’t see drake cooling off because his catalog is too big. He’ll be in the top 3 most streamed of the year in 2027. He’ll have 2-3 more projects to add to his catalog too by then.

Yeah this but 2-3 more projects are kinda too low. I'm almost confident that he will drop projects every year

Not really a W to barely outsell Kenny, someone this site say isn’t popping irl.

Kendrick not as popping as he was last decade. Drake got a 600k album this decade. Idk if Kendrick will ever have a big era this decade. Drake also off to a better start stat wise in the 2020’s compared to the 2010’s. In 2012 drake only had 1 number, in 2022 drake has 5 already. So idk why people calling him a flop for 200k if he’s off to a better start overall.

Huh? Not first week if drake drop singles. Either way bad bunny hot right now but he’ll prob cool off in 5 years like everyone else that blow and drake will still be doing numbers. People thought post was gonna overtake drake and he cooled off.

Comparing bad bunny to past Malone lmfao

Bad bunny’s been doing his thing since 2016 I hate to break it to you my guy but bad bunny has changed the landscape of music and he’s here to stay.

The comparison between how he started this decade and the last decade is jarring.

At this point in the 2010s decade, he had 2 #1 albums and 7 top 10 hits (1 of them peaking at #1). So far this decade, he has 3 top 10 albums (2 of them peaking at #1) and 23 top 10 hits (5 of them peaking at #1). He's also gonna be the most streamed artist in the US for the third straight year so far this decade.

    That’s what they all say
So you saying bad bunny gonna be big in 2030? It’s rare that a artist last over a decade of being dominant. A new Latino prob take bunny spot by 2028

Yup wild being called a flop because of 200k. Dude off to a better start this decade than last decade. He actually got a shot at winning AOTD again. All his need is 5 more big albums and a lot of features to win it again. He also might end up shattering the all time record for number 1’s he gonna get a number 1 hit every time he drop a project more than likely. Then add features. He already has 5, I can see him with getting 12 more by 2029

What's crazy is that before HN, the lowest first week for a Drake album was 447k back in 2010

He scored his first major album and is having his first true breakout year so to some people, that means this will last for the next 20 years and he'll only get bigger with each passing year lol.

    Can you stop saying this.

YHLQMDLG is one of the most streamed albums of all time. It was a cultural phenomenon

Also sold 179k first week in the US and is almost 3X platinum.

The drake stans want every artist to be like drake (basically doing nothing but releasing s*** to streaming)

It didn't do any damage in the US, which is my point. Y'all are calling Bad Bunny the biggest artist in the world now because he's being dominant in the US (the world's biggest music market). If his latest album flopped in the US, y'all wouldn't have any legs to stand on to call him the biggest.

YHLQMDLG streamed well on Spotify and that's it. He pushed 9 singles off the album and none of them did any damage in the US (his debut album had bigger singles). His latest album is his true breakout album. Don't know why y'all are in denial like it's a bad thing lol.

It's the same way Post Malone was doing well in 2015/2016 but really broke out in 2017 when Stoney blew up and then had his first true breakout year/album era with Beerbongs & Bentleys in 2018. Same way Hot Pink did well months after its release but Planet Her is Doja Cat's breakout album era.

It's not Drake's fault he doesn't need to do all that extra s*** to be successful lol. Bundles got clowned because they were a clear attempt by artists to boost their numbers and make their music look bigger than it actually was.

Nothing wrong with selling merch standalone and making your money off that but it's ridiculous when you use that to boost your album's numbers. That's why so many artists have flopped since bundles got scrapped. Now artists can only do "box sets" and those don't move units the way bundles did. Personally, I have no issues with them. Get it how you can.

It has sold well over 2.5 million copies in the US, and it has platinum singles. How is that not a breakthrough?

Nah I don’t think she’s being like that. Her definition of a breakthrough just doesn’t make sense imo. It’s like saying J Cole didn’t breakthrough until 2014FHD.
