Ant GeezyThing is hip hop is so trash now and full of tik tok rappers, drake can be on cruise control and still dominate this decade. Drake gonna be doing numbers until he hang it up. His catalog will also continue to make him the most streamed rapper through the 2020’s. We also didn’t have to be a fortune teller to know drake was gonna be around for 15+ years once TC dropped.
There was also a time when Post Malone was the fresh, exciting artist. Doja Cat is currently in that space right now. Give it a few years and all her flows/inflections will become commonplace and people will start calling her boring as well. I remember in 2018 when Megan Thee Stallion was exciting and fresh. Same with DaBaby a few years ago. It always happens. Same thing will happen to Bad Bunny as well. It happens to every artist in a mainstream space after some time passes. People will get used to your sound and they'll start wanting you to "switch it up" (whatever that means). Failure to do so will be followed by remarks about you "making the same song over and over again." Happened to Megan Thee Stallion/DaBaby, happened to Post Malone, even happened to Drake, who is the most versatile mainstream hip-hop artist. Might not happen for a few years but it'll definitely happen to Bad Bunny eventually, unfortunately.
