Not sure about gold with CDs but I’m sure Vinyls would have helped. Kendrick is probably the best selling rapper when it comes to Vinyls.

To give context, GKMC was the highest selling rap album on Vinyl in 2021 selling close to 200k.

Since then, very few rappers have had physicals ship first week, thus no physical sales first week.

Drake, Cole, Kanye all didn't have physicals first week either.

I think only ones that did have them ready to ship first week were Polo G, MGK and maybe Tyler the Creator
