you’re not wrong at all lol everyone hated sales threads until it was the new cool guy dominating
makes you wonder if it was about “sales threads” at all (it wasn’t)
This arguement would work if y'all had acted like this when Weeknd was doing well but when his song Blinding Lights made history Drake stans who were mods moved all Weeknd threads on it to his sxn and unpinned the thread until Drake started dropping again.
It was plenty of other artist making history they were just silenced
On here which is why people are happy to see Bad Bunny not be treated the same.
It was a while in this sxn where the only sales threads and records allowed to be discussed were Drakes even when Kanye did well with Donda they moved his individual threads and then kept the Drake one's

Is this bad bunny album going to be the most streamed album in history?
Most likely yeah
It was only a loud minority hating on Drake back in 2016-2018, but that turned into half of the site when Drake stans and mods biased to Drake tried to s*** on everyone 😭
Post peaking over 10 weeks in
and people here were saying he fell of
he did. he went from 6 hits to 1
and people here were saying he fell of
he did it's literally just radio keeping it alive
He was already in the top selling for pure sales this year before the vinyl sales…
MMATBS is #24 this week.

The sudden boost is only thanks to vinyls. Same thing happened with Donda and Call Me If You Get Lost when vinyls dropped for them as well.
lol why is niggas bringing pure sales and drake in the same sentence when y’all know he doesn’t drop physicals
They gotta find something to drag him with.

Just like how you guys try to find stuff about other artists to drag them?

It's silly trying to use MMATBS to drag Drake because the only reason the album is going back into the top 10 is because of a vinyl sales boost. Take that away and the album is doing less than 15k units weekly off streams already. I don't know what else y'all want me to say. All I did was explain why it got the sudden boost. Other major albums that got vinyl releases months after the album drop also saw the same thing happen.
actually two hits. ILY and ORN
He's being held up by radio. That's the reason why One Right Now had some longevity on the charts as well. He's always done well on radio with his hits but he's usually also done really well on streaming to aggregate along with that. That really hasn't happened so far in his current album era.

Why does the vinyls boost have to be seen as a bad thing? Just because Drake doesn’t do it doesn’t mean it’s nothing for other artists. It’s still another way to show popularity just like drake does through his streaming. All I’m saying random ass comparisons been artists should stop and sales shouldn’t be seen as a nothing

ORN might have not had the impressive streaming it should have but it was a hit among the radio audience which was able to be seen through it’s high callouts. ILY however has been holding pretty well on streaming along with good radio
