Announced months in advance as a “playlist”. The truth of the matter is that “Drake announced a new project he’s calling a playlist” and “Drake announced his new album” do not carry the same weight with casual consumers.

And I already told you that the feature list isn’t that of a Drake studio album of that time. But yeah I’m sure the public saw two Giggs features on it and were like, oh this is a serious project that I’m now excited about

This man thinks Drake would include two Giggs features on an album he takes seriously as a main project

    Crazy

2022 and people on here still don’t have reading comprehension skills

An artist: says project A is a side project
Random KTT user: No, it isn't! It's an album! You disguised it as a side project but it isn't!

That's how some of you sound in here.

Whatever an artist calls their project is EXACTLY what it is. That's how it's always been and that's how it'll always be. When Kanye/Pusha/Teyana Taylor/Nas/Cudi all dropped those 7-track projects in 2018, they all called them albums. If they had called them EPs, nobody would have said anything because EPs also usually have a similar track length. Nobody debated on them being albums despite only having 7 tracks because whatever an artist calls their project is what it is but don't tell that to the idiot in here trying to tell Drake what a project he made and released himself is to be called.

Some of you are really something else.

It’s only a side project because he called it one, anyone with common sense can see that it’s just an album he didn’t want pressure surrounding

that's literally what commercial mixtapes are...

What are u basing this off tho, it having singles and promo ?. He dropped the project on a Saturday night, he didn't treat it as an album, just another tape

So if Drake’s next album sounds like his music normally does, but he decided to label it a “country jazz rock fusion mixtape”, would you refer to it as that? Even if it was CLEARLY just Drake’s usual formula of rap & R&B?

More Life "sounds like Views, which is an album" that's why it's not a side project lmao. Dude in here thinks he's smart but all he's doing is exposing how stupid he is.

Okay, isn't UU literally demos from TPAB, which was an album? Using that logic, can we also call that an album then?
