Wow projections have even dropped lower for Kendrick, even if he does only around 300k that’s still solid considering he was gone for 5 years, minimal promo, no single (I don’t count THP5), and the album not having as much mainstream appeal
Nope, would def not be good numbers. The fact that he was gone for 5 years made the anticipation even bigger. Nowadays no rappers do any promo, Drake didn't either for example.
Fact of the matter is that the album doesn't have much replay value. That's what the numbers are telling us.

Haha Benz has just started hitting big boy numbers recently. If we’re really gonna compare then drake really is messi. He’s been hitting big numbers since he started. Kenny might be Ronaldo cause unfortunately he’s had to play catch up some years. Sucks to say that cause those two are my faves in their respective fields.
