thanks for the link. interesting read
Interesting. So it's a genuine figure but isn't capturing repeat listens at all
What is interesting is you definitely hear labels boasting about it or tracking it closely as one of the numbers they care about most
I think that it’s cared a lot about by artists and labels because it’s one the most easily accessible stats to see for the average Spotify user regarding artist’s popularity.
444 literally better than any Drake album and it’s not even close to jays best
Gassing a surface deep self help audiobook
So with another drop like this, does that mean he might not hit 300k
Spoiler alert: this nigga dies
There is no longer a top 3
It's Drake at the top, lonely
and then under him we got the sub-3
Kanye, Kendrick and J Cole
Bro compared Drake to fckin Harry Kane. Drake gets way too much disrespect online man
Explain in basketball terms plz

that is an underrated part of why artists put the most effort into promoting Spotify. It is mostly because it's the biggest one but it's also because they don't want to be embarassed by Spotify making everyone's stats public lol

This crazy
Dumb comparison
I’m not comparing Drake and Kendrick
I haven’t really listen to that Drake album but I’m sure 90% of the album is something the hoes would play at a party
Kendrick is talking about black trauma, racism, homophobia, etc
It’s not the same, people aren’t replaying United in Grief and Mother I Sober and Aunties Diaries like that
I’m pretty sure a large amount of people is like wtf is this
Y’all like to create these scenarios but leave out tons of detail
More excuses.
Tweets like this always make me laugh because it shows how much Kendrick fans love numbers and want to use that as a claim to greatness for him but when Drake's numbers get put up, they switch to critical acclaim because they know Kendrick doesn't come close lol.
https://twitter.com/thoughtfulbae/status/1526967268822884354I mean isn’t this the same thing that’s happening in here? Kendrick releases very highlyreceived projects but is getting discredited as an artist because he’s “supposed” to move a certain amount of numbers..
In the end both fan bases regurgitate the same points “Kendrick doesn’t sell records” and “drake releases incomplete albums”
Comparing them makes no sense because they make very different music.
If you think the sales numbers bout to be high just wait for them concert ticket prices
If J Cole drops a hot single before his next album and makes the project in the vein of FHD or The Off Season (but with more crossover songs) he is definitely outselling this

Drake is LeBron you got to be a huge hater to try and say he's Kane

If 444 is surface deep every drake album is about 50 feet off the ground in terms of depth
