I’m not sure ppl realize this but even tho Latin music has had tons of hit songs lately, Latin artists still don’t rly sell well in the US when it comes to albums. Bad Bunny is the exception. You have to look at their numbers different than you would an American artist

This is his first album since blowing up and despite having some songs that have gained traction on streaming, he only has like 1 hit record to his name that's done any sort of damage in the US. That hit isn't being played on US radio so there's still a disconnect between his music and the non-Latin community in the US.

For comparison, by 2018, Bad Bunny had a massive #1 hit with Cardi B and a top 5 hit with Drake (both of which got significant airplay on US radio) all before releasing his debut album in December that year and his album debuted with 30k. Peso Pluma's album debuted with 73k.
