Hip hop will NOT be cooked. Y’all not even rap fans lmao just pop fans faking the funk since drake happens to rap.
Don't start
Another solo #1. What a king
The goat. Meanwhile CLB was a glorified DJ Khaled album with all those features carrying

That’s their hope. They literally just do this s*** to prop up Drake 😂.
This site is a waste.

Fr lol that s*** was so unnecessary.
Yeah true it's like comparing a marvel movie (commercial garbage for plebs) with French New Wave cinema from the 1960s (philosophical, poetic and boundary pushing)
Eh more like a good aronofsky flick lol
He actually is predicted to sell around 500K with pure sales included
We will see next Friday. 250-300K sounds way more realistic.
From HDD:
With 100m+ U.S. first-day streams, Travis Scott’s Utopia (Cactus Jack/Epic) is tracking to a full week total of 350m streams or more. This puts Utopia’s SEA total in the range of 245-275k. We currently have no sales info for Utopia. Industry innuendo suggests Scott’s D2C orders have exceeded 200k. Can Utopia top Scott's previous blockbuster, ASTROWORLD, which opened with 538k in 2018? Stay tuned for updates.

And some idiots were tryna act like HDD pulled the 200K pure sales number completely out of thin air
"industry innuendo" Lol it's weird how they don't actually know yet. I've never seen it rumoured like that for an album
i'm guessing travis's team is working over time trying to get it all shipped on time and that's why they can't confirm numbers. I still have such crazy doubts about that number tho lol, 200k fanpacks? just insane. Especially considering how ugly the merch was
I'm guessing it's around 20k-30k raw CDs/vinyls and then the other 170k~ is tshirts/hoodies alongside a CD/vinyl
good luck to them trying to ship all of that this week

Quadra is right this site dont care about any of that if its about artists they dont like. Mods have even said death threats 🤣

I think there is a lot of uncertainty because some of it could get filtered out.
Its not just fanpacks but boxsets and the discounted albums if you buy merch. Plus people just buying physicals.
Astroworld did 270k in pure sales so over 200k is very possible especially with preorders.

damn that's crazy

He’s predicted to do around 275K from streams ALONE.
With pure sales included, it’ll be 400K minimum

They were digital albums tho from what I remember. You could buy a $15 keychain and it''d include the digital album
now you can't bundle digital, only physical, and they have to be shipped that week. Minimum price for all the bundles for Utopia was like $40, most of them being $60+. So I'd be way more surprised if his team manages this, would be a huge feat

If Taylor and other pop stars this year have been able to get hundreds of thousands of physical orders shipped out in one week, no reason Travis’s team shouldn’t be able to

The issue is probably more the hoodies/tshirts I guess, that's a LOT of merch to ship at once. Beyonce is the only artist iv seen do that i think, and she did a lot less of it
Idk why there is so much confusion in this thread. He is selling 245-275k first week from streaming aka the real numbers. Thats how much cultural impact it had/how many people are listening. Now if you care about the gimmicks and bundles, it’ll tackle on enough to put him at 400ish maybe even more. End of story

In the small print they said they ship this week so I don't see why it wouldn't.
