Utopia 139k next week
Abysmal streaming
we really live in a world where Travis's 3rd week is probably gonna be outsold by Morgan Wallen's 30th+ week lol

Utopia 139k next week
$5 vinyl with free shipping impact
What makes someone more likely to buy Travis merch than Drake merch then? If Drake has around 2x more people interested in listening to his music why do you think they wouldn't care to buy merch if it was available?
doesn't make sense to me cause Drake seems to have a lot more hardcore fans than Travis
I don't ever see a Drake fan go crazy and buy CDs. They just save his music to a playlist

He hasn't released CDs with a project since Scorpion, and even that was weeks later, so this kinda disingenuous
We don't have much to go off for how Drake fans would buy physicals if they were available day 1.
Drake bundles wouldn’t work
His fans aren’t the type to buy vinyls and the thought of wearing Drake merch is embarrassing for most. Resellers aren’t attracted to Drake branded merchandise either.
Trav's audience don't buy vinyls either, he sold 55k and that includes the fan pack vinyls.
it's majority merch & everyone buys merch. OVO is pretty big so I dunno what ur on about

Who tf buys CDs unless you get merch or something with it?
DAMN sold millions of cds/vinyls with no merch gimmicks, which was right as streaming was blowing up. Mr Morale came out and he barely sold any. Thinking a Trav fan would buy that s*** if a Kendrick fan isnt is nuts

Utopia 139k next week
oh my god what happened to uzi
I’m pretty sure most of the DrakeRelated products are super limited and mostly bought up by bots.
The vinyl especially, there’s no way there were anymore than 5K-10K available with how quickly they sold out, and a lot of the copies were on eBay the same day for exuberant prices showing that they were mostly bought up by resellers’ bots
“Pretty sure” = talking out of my ass
Travis has the type of fanbase that goes crazy for merch and different physicals and s*** like that. Same with Taylor.
Drake has a bigger fanbase than Travis definitely, but Travis fans in general are way more rabid than most Drake fans are
The qualities you’re using to define “rabid”, physical media and merch sales, are things Drake doesn’t cultivate within his fanbase. But you could easily say that Drake selling twice as many tour tickets for twice the price points to having a more “rabid” fanbase.
Unless you mean rabid literally in that Travis’s fanbase is nothing but feral teenage white boys
tbh I thought the same, but this tour is proving his fanbase are just as bad as Taylor/Trav it's just they rarely get a chance to show it
https://twitter.com/touringdata/status/1686482052923719680$292 avg price is some deranged s***, only 2 shows but every show is set to be similar
trav's astroworld tour was $75 a ticket https://twitter.com/touringdata/status/1163891442806415360
his fans would 100% drop a lot of money on merch if they had the chance
Exactly

Views almost had 1mill off of pure cause apple music was the only way to listen to it for a week
“Pretty sure” = talking out of my ass
I buy vinyl very regularly and know how it goes by now.
Nothing ever sells out that quickly unless it’s extremely ridiculously limited and/or scooped up by bots

buys 4 CDs

Drake’s tour numbers point to Drake having a bigger fanbase than Travis, which he obviously does.
By rabid, I mean Travis fans will buy literally any product that has Travis Scott branding on it no matter the price point

Why wouldn’t Drake’s? They just don’t get the opportunity.

It’s just two different audiences.
It’s not better or worse, it just is what it is.
The only rapper with a fanbase as rabid as Travis’s right now is probably Carti

There’s nothing to back up what you’re saying though. It’s just your own vibes

On that same token, there’s nothing to back up your argument either.

Except the $200m+ he’s making on tour right now. Which points to Drake fans being willing to spend money on him

There’s a huge difference between a fan willing to spend money on a concert ticket and a fan spending $150 on an empty briefcase because it says Utopia on it.
That’s the point I’m making.
Drake packs out arenas because he’s the biggest artist on the planet.
Travis can sell any product imaginable with his branding on it because his fanbase is rabid and will buy anything he sells them.
Neither is better or worse, just two different audiences

You literally posted a bootleg Honestly Nevermind vinyl link in the Drake vinyl thread
