i think a lot of you are underestimating how much anticipation drives streaming numbers, comparing this album to donda (even if it had a full tracking week and wasn't bloated with 27 songs) makes no sense because kanye has been EXTREMELY visible in the past 5 years and has released multiple albums in that period.

even with 14 songs i would be shocked if kendrick did anything less than 400 million streams especially when his last 14 track album did 350 million streams in a weak 2017 streaming climate

I think he's doing 500 streams even with a 14 track album. I think he'll beat CLB with streams per track. I don't know what the record is but he might break it. This place is gonna be a s***show if it happens too

Thank you. People are acting like this isn’t the most anticipated album in years. It’s gonna sell like crazy. He literally broke the internet with the release date announcement.

It would such be a win for hip hop if Pusha gets the number one spot.

If somebody sold physicals like Adele and got streams like Drake, they’d be at 1.2 million

The only person close to doing both of those is Taylor.

Bro the ktt2 servers didn't even shut down from the announcement

  • Apr 23, 2022

Kendrick’s numbers might really depend on the success of a first single before the release.

Lmao I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not but that doesn’t mean anything. This site wouldn’t crash from a Taylor or Adele announcement but they’re still two of the biggest artists in the world right now

KTT is not the sole indicator for album hype. Drake and Kanye and maybe Carti are the only three artists this site actually crashes for.

500 million streams with 14 tracks is 35.7 million streams per track, slightly more than CLB's record with 743 million streams with 21 tracks or 35.3 million streams per track

Yeah, I think he'll beat CLB per track because of having significantly less tracks

It did break the internet. Beyoncé broke the internet multiple times over the 2010s and never once craahed KTT.

Yeah he’s a rapper but Kendrick just isn’t the type of artist that this sit really goes insane over.
