Bongos confirmed a flop
When were these numbers updated? it seems off cause CLB has done 3.7m in the US alone according to hdd. It'd be weird if he's only done 500k outside the US. Very hard to believe that CLB did the same numbers globally that Dawn FM did considering the streaming gap on spotify
take care scorpion views all over 8 million in usa. so still seem kinda off unless he more local then we think

Rap heavy album with no global hits. People don’t seem to realise that us hip hop is not that big outside of the United States and Canada anymore, every country got their own rappers now.

Feels kinda hard to believe that tho cos Drake/Trav do pretty big numbers across Europe every time they drop
rap in general seems to be the biggest its ever been in europe now. Utopia even did numbers in Germany which surprised me. In the UK I'd even say rap is bigger than pop now, lots of that is uk rappers though, but I'd say US rap is the biggest its ever been in the uk also

Not talking about rap in general, yeah rap in the UK is bigger now than ever, but it’s mainly pushed by UK artists. For the rest of Europe just look at the charts for them, barely any US rap artists in there right now, which was very different back in 2016/2017/2018.

Really? I don't remember many US rap hits on the charts during that period, less than now even
I guess if you include pop hits the US rap artists were putting out like One Dance/NFW etc then maybe.
Migos for example have never had a UK #1, they've only had 1 top 10. Only 4 top 40s even. XO Tour Llif3 peaked at 25th in the UK and that's his biggest song in the UK ever
shawty forgetting fat d
taylor will still pass him around next summer tho I guess
nvm she thinks FAT D will only increase his streams from 33m to 39m.. huh

Songs like Humble, God’s Plan, XO Tour Life, Mask Off, Praise The Lord, Sicko Mode, goosebumps, Panda, Black Beatles, Bad and Boujee some Post Malone s*** were all huge in Europe during that period and that’s not even taking into consideration the non rap songs these artists put out then. I can’t think of many songs similar for the last 2 or so years. Also was more talking about streaming charts idk what mfers on the radio in the uk were listening to.

In what country? because in the UK none of those were huge except God's Plan
Spotify UK peaks:
XO Tour Life 23rd
Mask Off 9th
Humble 5th
Praise The Lord 14th
Sicko Mode 6th
Goosebumps 89th
Panda 95th
Black Beatles 10th
Bad and Boujee 21st
God's Plan 1st
I had to check cause you made me feel like my memory was wrong lol, cause I swear I remembered US rap never being big in the UK and it seems my memory isn't crazy
Post Malone/stuff like Wild Thoughts and 1 or 2 Drake songs were huge but apart from that us rap never really did damage in the UK
I actually think Paint The Town Red is the biggest US rap hit in the UK since God's Plan and it might even eclipse it. Then you've got fukumean, which charted higher in the UK on spotify (4th) than Sicko Mode, Humble and everything you listed except God's Plan

Idk I’m NL based, feel like those songs were bigger over here. But maybe you are right and I’m speaking more from personal experiences. Just feel like back then people were checking way more for it and you heard way more s*** from the US at parties and hangouts and s***. None of my friends checking for that s*** anymore at least, while it was all we listened to in 2016.
saw this 😭😭😭 video funny af

im glad it flopped. hopefully she never makes a song with megan thee stallion again. its tired
so t-swift made a 10Billion leap in 9 months. she was #4 5th at January.
she should overtake drake within 3-6 months depending on how big "dogs" will be, but regardless it'll be ok cus drake's main base of operations is on apple music, not spotify
Guess rodwave proved me wrong about pain rap being dead
Appeal to NPCs and no music genre is dead
