SYO is already below a million streams on spotify and lost the #1 spot on apple music. it will probably fall out of the top 10 second week.
MMATBS drops out of the Billboard 200 after 70 weeks 👀

sales are always rigged. some more, some less. every major label uses streams farms to boost streams. And that goes for every artist. Nothing new

for sure but this is a #1 record from an all time great artist and it’s had the cultural impact of a song that peaks at #38 or something

Idk I can‘t say how much impact it had and it probably would go no.1 anyway since it‘s Drake but you shouldn‘t take Billboard charts serious in general unless you‘re a Drake stan
SOS outstreaming Utopia last week is insane man, especially since R&B rarely streams like that
SOS probably gonna end up outselling After Hours at this rate

B****es love SZA
Oh wow SOS has sold 3.5m units in 9 months
After Hours sold 3.2m in 18 months
CLB sold 3.1m in 15 months
If we go based on artists last studio albums then SZA is the 2nd biggest artist in the US behind Taylor, I didn't realise that she hit those levels, crazy

SZA is having a massive year and Drake is big enough to always debut singles in the top 10.
Just can't remember the last single he dropped that actually stuck around.

The last nigga to care about radio or any white dominated metric - to the effect of losing out on easy stat padding - is not using payola

It’s a rabidly anticipated comeback album from a beloved artist who previously dropped a generation defining classic. People already went into it rooting for themselves to like it - THEN it has hits and is a great body of work. Makes total sense it hit those numbers that quickly
People like the project for the project and the hits. Double whammy
Only real music gonna last
The music accounts are posting about it too smh.
