I have like 50 plays of Utopia, which is like 3% of a sale
if streaming didn't exist I would have bought the CD first day
If that Yeat song goes #1 over the Cole song just end the genre tbh
It's going to be cause "money for fun" adlib is viral rn
it's just crazy cuz like all these dudes be breaking these streaming records but then in IRL the engagement be hit or miss like you said.
That's all why we was tryna say in the other thread and folks got upset lol
I hope people realize this is the same thing with radio right? I like a whole bunch of music that I've heard on the radio but I'm not going to go to every single one of these artists concerts.
Lil baby is a star, but not every region of the US gonna f*** with him. Everyone in his target audience knows who he is though.

My hope is FPS holds on for this week, and then IDGAF can stay strong next week and have a shot at #1
They are definitely only gonna be separated by a couple points though

That should be locked unless Bad Bunny drops an absolute banger I think. IDGAF still gaining streams every day
3 #1s from this "mediocore" album would be wild considering the reception
Those albums have that benefit now. If streaming was a thing back then it would be less diamond albums not more.
Nowhere did I say in my post “if streaming was a thing back then”
I’m talking about the method of long term sales via replays that streaming benefits from, not the actual system of streaming itself.
IDGAF being one of the biggest streaming hits of the year dont sit right with me lol
500k coming for the boy🥳🥳

Everyone that says he needs to make mature music needs to stfu

its a flop brother stop
The new Bad Bunny won't outsell FATD week #1 or maybe even week 2, but over the course of a few months it probably will. He's a very consistent performer sales wise.
Idk I feel like it has potential to outsell it off the strength that Bunny did not alienate the people that will be tuning into him like Drake did + the fact that it’ll be out on time.
Everyone that says he needs to make mature music needs to stfu
Don't see the correlation tbh not like the Cole song is some mature ass s*** lol and the reason the Yeat song is getting huge is because of that tik Tok meme of drake as a baby in the studio.
its a flop brother stop
i can only dream
Bad Bunny tonight.

Personally, I always said this album would sell well.
I even said that it'd go Platinum in less than a year before it came out.
It's just so easy to troll Drake stans because of how obsessed so many are with sales and chart watching.
And since ya'll like to use sales as a Hail Mary, "Mid Steppers" got certified Gold/Plat in more countries overseas than Her Loss and HNVM.

Not that I gaf because it'll still be my 3rd fave Kenny album even if it sold triple aluminum. But I just found it interesting that a terrible, fake woke therapy album that nobody listens to irl did so well worldwide.
