These Drake stans acting like 402K isn’t an underperformance is hilarious considering the fact that two weeks ago they were in here predicting 600-700K first week.

A 23 track Drake album doing less than 500K, less than 450K is surprising no matter how you try to slice it

I sure hope I don't see you making any excuses for Bad Bunny's album debut.

Drake is gonna have to re-evaluate his thoughts on physicals if he ever wants to push 500k+ units 1st week again. His numbers will keep falling if he continues to go the whole streaming only route. Maybe he doesn’t care anymore but if that’s the case then he might as well just give us shorter concise albums and say f*** the numbers

CLB was hyped for more than a year lol. Not the same situation imo.

CLB had no lead single, no release date and no cover until the week of the album. All we knew was that an album was coming.

For All The Dogs was teased for months on tour, cover art was released months in advance, release date was announced weeks in advance, and there was a lead single featuring SZA

Yeah I knew this s*** was gonna happen lol. I said Her Loss type numbers this whole time but the fact that it took 23 tracks to match her loss obviously means that it’s underperformed a bit.

Wait till you see how rap albums perform going forward. I've explained it here before. US streaming numbers for rap are rapidly deteriorating. It's happening to every genre but even more so for rap. Even well-received rap albums will struggle to put up numbers moving forward. Just you wait.

You might be the biggest hater on this site bro. Go sit with bad bunny and talk his ear off about it. Maybe you can give him some advice on why his album didn’t sell your initial 400k ceiling projection.

So being surprised at an underperformance is hating now?

I’m hating yet I’ve been playing the album non-stop since it dropped?

Yeah everyone is pretty much underperforming/flopping rn. I don’t get why it’s this drastic tho. Did people just stop caring about these artists? Are the labels just not investing in rap anymore?

I’m pretty sure you were one of the people predicting 600K+ as well. If you’re predicting a number and it performs significantly under that number, that’s an underperformance

No, it's growing organically because it was one of the last genres to embrace streaming.
