This is some massive cope.

The average rap listener doesn't care that Kanye is independent. They just care that a new Kanye album is out. Kanye sabotaged the release of this album. No one else did that but him. He's been teasing this album since at least August last year and has delayed it several times because he didn't have his s*** together. He could have easily dropped this on Friday last week or Friday this week so he'd get the full tracking week to count. He opted to not do so.

You can't turn around and try to paint all of that like there's some industry agenda against him now regarding him releasing new music. There isn't.

How is my post negative? I'm just stating facts. Kanye is the one who sabotaged the release of his album, no one else.

And for anyone saying "he isn't front-page on Spotify/Apple Music, they're out to get him." Y'all forget that record labels are the ones who pay for those banners. That's something (major artists) tend to get automatically when signed to a major label because it's covered in their budgets. If you're indie or you have a release that's indie, you have to be the one to cover that cost. Spotify/Apple Music won't feature you on the front-page of their platforms with banners simply because you're a big name. They might feature your songs on their playlists because they're currently popular on their platforms but all banners on all platforms get paid for.
