This album might go platinum in like 2 years lmao, the drop off is going to be insanely massive. General public (outside of Ye core fanbase) is not vibing with it. Projections might drop by 10k.

i mean did he though? He just flat out ain't finish anything after Donda and scrapped Donda 2 effectively to a rubber ball. If he was properly motivated again, he could create a massive album like Donda again (possibly even bigger). I mean 140k for a collab album with Ty$ is more impressive than any recent rappers collab besides Drake and 21 who are 2 of the biggest in the genre right now.
Cole getting a #1 with Drake means nothing. It's Drake. He got the stimulus. And the Durk song was just a stroke of luck. Cole isn't a big name in the charts like that and his solos ain't been on Donda level since 2014FHD.

Kanye last solo did 309K with a mid week release. TY$ last solo did 44K first week. 140K for a collab album, with a mid week release is absolutely fine numbers.

Seems like they've gotta s*** on Usher's numbers to make Kanye's numbers seem more impressive.
Usher going from 38k to almost 80k is a massive W. He also has a hit record off the album with Good Good.
Usher just finished a crazy impactful successful and well-received Vegas residency that's culminated in him playing the Super Bowl halftime show.
He's adding more dates to his arena tour with every passing day and it's already set to be his biggest tour yet. He's winning big time.
How anyone can frame all of that as some sort of L for a dude who released his debut album 30 YEARS AGO is amazing to me lol.

How is my post negative? I'm just stating facts. Kanye is the one who sabotaged the release of his album, no one else.
And for anyone saying "he isn't front-page on Spotify/Apple Music, they're out to get him." Y'all forget that record labels are the ones who pay for those banners. That's something (major artists) tend to get automatically when signed to a major label because it's covered in their budgets. If you're indie or you have a release that's indie, you have to be the one to cover that cost. Spotify/Apple Music won't feature you on the front-page of their platforms with banners simply because you're a big name. They might feature your songs on their playlists because they're currently popular on their platforms but all banners on all platforms get paid for.
Is Ty independent too btw? If not, why his label not promoting it?
