No, he doesn't. Drake can get hits all by himself without any help and has done so all throughout his career. 21 only got his first solo hit this year. He has 11 less top 10 hits without Drake.

If they are truly the reason why Drake's songs become hits, why would they need Drake's platform in the first place, dummy? Why wouldn't they be able to get hits by themselves? It's not impossible. SZA, Jack Harlow and Doja Cat are out here snagging solo smash hits by themselves so why do those other people need Drake to get the most-streamed/highest-charting/biggest hits of their own careers?

I spoke on 21 Savage's entire career but y'all only wanna focus on Drake's hits this decade (of which he still has the most of anybody btw). He still has over a dozen solo smash hits. How many solo hits does 21 Savage have? So 21 can give Drake hits but can't give himself hits? How does that work?

He has over a dozen solo smash hits to his name, more than your favorite rapper does. He has gone from selling 700k-1mil first week with multiple number 1 hits that chart for almost a year, to 400k first week with songs that hit number 1 for one week then hover around the 30's for 2 months

Some of them make music that’s too niche or too non-accessible to truly crossover and be a staple in the mainstream world (21, Yeat, Sexyy Red, etc.). But when added to a palatable Drake record, it works, and brings their fans to his already massive audience
