No, he doesn't. Drake can get hits all by himself without any help and has done so all throughout his career. 21 only got his first solo hit this year. He has 11 less top 10 hits without Drake.

Thank you.
Why can’t those artists reach those heights by themselves? Because whose name isn’t attached? Meaning what?
If they are truly the reason why Drake's songs become hits, why would they need Drake's platform in the first place, dummy? Why wouldn't they be able to get hits by themselves? It's not impossible. SZA, Jack Harlow and Doja Cat are out here snagging solo smash hits by themselves so why do those other people need Drake to get the most-streamed/highest-charting/biggest hits of their own careers?

The better question is why doesn’t Drake have any long lasting solo hits since 2018? Not a single solo song over 20 weeks? Tough.

How does this disprove that Drake can still get solo hits by himself?
I spoke on 21 Savage's entire career but y'all only wanna focus on Drake's hits this decade (of which he still has the most of anybody btw). He still has over a dozen solo smash hits. How many solo hits does 21 Savage have? So 21 can give Drake hits but can't give himself hits? How does that work?

Are you on Drake's payroll? It disproves it because he hasn't had a true solo hit this decade.

You haven't answered the questions I asked. Don't deflect now. How are they the ones who give Drake hits but they need his platform to do so. How does that make any sense?

This all started because you said Drake was still getting hits all by himself. That hasn’t been true since 2018

What the f*** is a true solo hit? This man has been scoring hits for the past 15 years. He has more hits than anyone else. He doesn't have to prove s*** lol. He has over a dozen solo smash hits to his name, more than your favorite rapper does. Why does he need to keep scoring solo hits to "prove himself" like he hasn't been doing that already for the better part of the last two decades?

he doesn't need to do anything, but it's evident he doesn't have the juice like that anymore

He has gone from selling 700k-1mil first week with multiple number 1 hits that chart for almost a year, to 400k first week with songs that hit number 1 for one week then hover around the 30's for 2 months

Some of them make music that’s too niche or too non-accessible to truly crossover and be a staple in the mainstream world (21, Yeat, Sexyy Red, etc.). But when added to a palatable Drake record, it works, and brings their fans to his already massive audience

I listed 3 solo hits by him from this decade, what are you talking about? Or do you think a song is only a hit if it's as big as God's Plan?

His biggest songs since 2018 are the ones with features on them

you don’t know niche music to save your life if you think any of them are so
how is she doing so low w that kind of fanbase and streaming era?
Bad 1st single, bad promotion, aging, looks diminshed, general public that follows music closely hates her for being a homewrecker.

What's the point of this post? He's still the biggest and the most consistent hitmaker in rap today regardless lmao.

Okay Mr. Pretentious
Yeat is far too niche to ever be a household mainstream name on his own, he’ll never be a rapper that sells 200K first week

Lovin On Me and Carnival are probably 5x bigger than anything he's released after Covid.
he has a big fanbase and people checking for his releases, but the songs are not sticking with the gp, I’m sorry

Because the day has yet to come where the industry and fans alike realize that nowadays, colossal first week sales is a songwriting phenomenon and not a marketing one
