Having a successful tour after an album doesn't mean s*** about the album lol

    look at eminem, u2, coldplay

once u hit a certan point all ur new albums can be complete garbage but people will come to your tour just to hear the old s***

MMTM's long term sales were bad, it wasn't a success but it wasn't a failure either

Justin Timberlake's tour for his Man of the Woods album ended up becoming one of his biggest tours ever and that album wasn't well-received by anyone, even his fans. Same case can be made for his latest album but regardless, he sold 88% of his tickets for the tour in like a day lol.

Once you're an established artist and fans know you to be a decent performer, you'll always find it easy to move tickets. It's really that simple.

They said the same shii back when Myspace was running things...then it disappeared.

It’s important to remember that Spotify is a Swedish company and that could matter down the line.

Apple’s the biggest company in the world with a market cap of over $3 trillion. If Apple wanted to they could easily push Spotify out of the US market.

Alphabet is also way bigger than Spotify with a market cap close to $2.5 trillion so it’s not impossible that YT Music could take over in the future.

Things can flip real quick. Spotify has the most subs now but it’s still a small player compared to the big guys. Just to compare: Apple: 3.4 Trillion, Google: 2.3 Trillion, Spotify: 64 billion.

Myspace didn't react fast enough with the changing times. That's why they fell off. But Spotify has shown they are adaptable and willing to try new things to stay relevant.

Being a foreign company isn't gonna stop Spotify. American record labels have strong investment in company's growth so they're not going anywhere.

Apple and Google/YouTube came later to the music streaming game that Spotify already had years head start establishing their brand. Only way for them to beat Spotify at this point is literally blocking them from iOS/Android but they won't do that in fear of antitrust monopoly lawsuits

has to do with the type of rap music. trap music always flops outside US. every country has their own version of trap or drill thats charting

But if you drop an album that people either hate or dislike, your tour is not gonna do that well either.

Mr. Morale was only Kendrick’s fifth studio album and the Morale tour was only his 3rd arena tour, he had not transitioned into legacy act by that point yet (and he still isn’t)

Drake had the biggest hip hop tour of all time after CLB and HN so that’s not true at all

ppl keep sayin kendrick was so open about his ignorance on mr morale but goes on to say a slur and ppl justified it lmao .

like the irony is hiliarious but whatever this site was littered with dumbass drake stan’s now it’s littered with kendrick stan’s and the kendrick stan’s are MUCH worse

Lying isn't healthy. The excuses y'all make for Drake stans when they've littered the site with chart talk since 2015.
Kendrick stans are only worse cause they're taking a short joke into a long one ironically. Drake stans ran with the chart and hits talk for so long that it's accepted as "usual behavior"
