I don't even think AH is a top 10 album of the last 5 years in the US in terms of long term sales but you have people on here saying it didn't struggle

SZA is smaller than The Weeknd yet SOS had waaaay more success than AH

Remember there is a world outside of the USA and I come from Europe.
Believe me when I say the weeknd is at least 3x times bigger than drake here.

To be honest went to both concerts of them, drake wouldn’t be able to sell out stadiums here. That’s the different of their super star status.

Talking about cherrypicking when you mention that specific period the album left the the top 20 when it stayed in the top 10 and 20 for most of its run

And Top 30 in the charts is not "struggling"

Yeah I’m from the Netherlands and the only time I heard drake here on the radio was with Hold on were going home.

Drake is undeniably one of the biggest rappers ever lived. But people are acting like he is some sort of Micheal Jackson when people in Europe barely know him lol

Also I never said the album was a flop or not successful lol, stop being a girl. I simply said it was struggling for The Weeknd's size as an artist.

SOS sold over double of AH's units in its first year of release.

Yeah, we know SZA is bigger than The Weeknd in the US. And so are Drake, Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan and others... so what?

You said they only dropped The Highlights because AH was supposedly struggling when AH spent most of the previous months in the top 10 and 20, with 4 weeks at #1, 2 million copies sold, various hits... and it still spent more months in the top 10 after The Highlights dropped (with both of them charting at the same time), so...

that's what i'm saying, there's no reason for them to release that greatest hits album unless they want better chart performance. And it kinda worked. If AH was doing SOS type numbers, they never would have released it

It was because of the Super Bowl and the 10 years of his career :)

By the time the compilation was released he had 3 mixtapes, 4 albums and 1 EP. Eight projects.

SZA has two albums.

ironically everyone always used to say "you can't expect new artists to sell a lot of albums, they sell more every new album" now it's the opposite

November 2020 (8 months after release) it was #24 on the charts. They released the greatest highlights 2 months later

In 2020 it was outsold by Pop Smoke's album and destroyed by Lil Baby's album
so yes, it was struggling considering his size as an artist
