We need to start the conversation that the AM numbers might me inflated for Drake

His albums are getting less and less streams on Spotify. Why is he getting so much streams on AM? AM isn't even that big to begin with

A lot of rappers do way better on apple music compared to spotify. Examples Rod Wave, Lil Baby, Youngboy, Glorilla, and Sexyy Red.

Not to mention that Drake’s deal with AM back in 2015 meant that a lot of his core fanbase chose that as their default streaming service. People signed up for the Views exclusivity and OVOSR and just never left

I know this thread is very first week sales based but I'm more interested in seeing if this album is commercially stable across the months. I think it could be

    The potential is there.

    Oh brother.

    It's true,

first of all the numbers are great. second of all the second album is clearly going to be the "big" one with presumably more tracks, superstar features, powerhouse singles etc etc. So if you want to be critical about numbers why not do it with the real album that coming instead of the niche west coast mix tape that was dropped out of nowhere.

Its like being critical of "Might Delete Later" when it's just a prequel to the fall off.

If that one under performs then by all means clown him all you want. I don't mind people who clown Mr. Morale for the same reason.

Remember when I said Not Like Us was Kendrick's biggest song ever and the K-Bots called me crazy?

    Biggest Kendrick hit: Drake diss.
Second biggest Kendrick hit: Big Sean diss.

    https://twitter.com/talkofthecharts/status/1862359639200846321

Remember when it was "Kendrick isn't battle tested"
Now it's "Kendrick only charts when he's dissing people"

This isn't a mixtape, though. It's an album and was marketed and promoted as such, so I'll treat it as such.

His biggest hit is still a diss song aimed at Drake so I don't get the aim of your post. I didn't say anything that wasn't factual.

Stats Drake Stan’s don’t want you to see

CLB average streams first week: 23,670,621

Scorpion average streams first week: 22,360,877

For all the dogs average streams first week: 17,627,990

GNX average streams first week: 30,247,491

Bonus stat: Her Loss - 23.9m/song

    Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Spotify_streaming_records

you're a complete moron if you think this means anything

Look at TTPD v Sour on that image you posted and you'll see why. 37m for TTPD (31 tracks) v 34m for Sour (11 tracks)

do you think if they both dropped 11 track albums the averages would be the same? or anywhere close?

This thread has turned into an autistic mess where Kendrick stans are now tearing down artists like Tyler/Billie just to try lift up Kendrick.
