Kendrick is a GOAT artistDrake always going to be in a league of his own sales wise because of the R&B and the rap.
Also, you can’t leave for 5 years in this day and age and expect to stay relevant. Drake stays putting out music, and the roll outs may have been similar but Drake was building hype for CLB for over a year before it dropped. Kendrick took an L by staying gone and having a terrible roll out.
Both are still GOATs and it’s weird that people are happy to hate.
the hype was definitely there for kendrick, he did 120m streams first day. in a different era he would have sold like 600k+ first week off the strength of that initial hype, but these days you have to maintain it throughout the week and he failed to do that.
