I'm glad he's finally doing all he can to push the album this week. That's the smart move and it seems to be working.

He dropped another digital deluxe today, so it’s certainly possible. But I still don’t subscribe to the idea that anything under 400K+ is an underperformance.

He’s guaranteed to have his 3rd highest first week ever if it finishes above 350K. That’s a win regardless.

Long as Drake drops this on the 14 and gets outta the deal I’ll be happy

No, you said that because you wanted to low-ball his numbers as much as possible in case he didn't reach those numbers. I perfectly laid out my reasons why it would outperform Dawn FM and they're all logical, well thought out reasons.

In addition to that, he's also doing something I didn't mention back then, which is he's heavily pushing the album this week: multiple live performances, multiple music videos and just making sure talk of and about the album stays out there. All of that will work in the album's favor.

That's why I said if it doesn't clear 400k, it'll be an underperformance. There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't. I don't see it reaching After Hours' 444k debut but 400-410k shouldn't be impossible imo.

He should push that as a single. That's a top 10 hit waiting to happen.

I wasn’t low balling anything. All anyone was saying for months was that there was no hype for the album and 2/3 singles fell flat on their face (DITF didn’t bounce back at all like I predicted).

It was very possible if he dropped another full 80s album or an album people didn’t latch onto, that it wouldn’t clear 300K.

The extra promo this week is definitely helping it, as well as the good worth of mouth, but there was no way to know either of those things would happen this week before the album dropped
