I really think the only reason Drake is dropping album now is to boost his streams. Based on current projections, Taylor and Bad Bunny are set to catch up or pass him in 12-15 months and there’s no way he’d let that happen. Probably gonna be another 20+ song project just to rack up streams lol even if the quality ends up being terrible.

And it will 100% finish in the Top 10 this year, mostly because it dropped so early and the first week total was so high. It’s already at basically 600K after two weeks.

It’ll be Platinum by around April or May, which leaves half of the year for more units to sell.

It’ll finish the year probably somewhere between 1.3M and 1.8M units sold

SZA/Bad Bunny/Chappell/Kendrick/Sabrina/Morgan's album's outselling over the year is like guaranteed though, so that's 6 slots taken already. Add Drake's album, another Taylor album.. Top 10 isn't as guaranteed as you think

Bad Bunny’s - yes

Kendrick’s - possibly

SOS - most likely simply because it’s 42 songs

Sabrina - possibly, but the deluxe has to have legs, she’s like 200K+ behind right now

And it depends on when Morgan drops. If he drops first half of the year, then definitely, but if he drops like Q3/Q4, it might only get to 1M by year’s end.

And it’s really not terrible, it’s very hilarious how you spent years clowning Dawn’s first week sales and predicting that HUT would flop first week, and now you’re shifted the goalposts to longterm performance after you were drastically wrong about the first week

I meant Morgan's 3 year old album One Thing at a Time, that's gonna outsell this by the end of the year for sure.

No it won’t. One Thing At a Time is 400K behind HUT right now.

HUT would literally have to sell like 5K-10K a week for months for that album to catch up.

And no you have not, we’ve all seen you predicting that HUT would flop first week because the singles had no hype

5k-10k a week? eh? One Thing At a Time will be selling 20k+ more than HUT a week by June/July. It only needs about 3 months of that.

The digital download thing is the glorified equivalent of an iTunes purchase.

Here are his last four albums’ first week pure sales numbers (which were all just digital download/iTunes purchases):

Certified Lover Boy: 46K
Honestly, Nevermind: 11K
Her Loss: 12K
For All The Dogs: 10K

$$$4U isn’t doing no crazy pure sales figures unless they drop actual CD and/or vinyl copies along with merch bundles that all ship first week
