Kendrick still on top on Apple Music too globally
Luther and NLU are really gonna be the 2 most popular songs of the 2020s

Need a video for that first one asap
Everyone has what they'd like to see Drake do but Drake is doing the direct opposite of that lol. People wanna hear Drake rap, especially about the beef, Kendrick and all that's transpired in the past year. Him choosing to NOT do that and instead deliver an R&B album with PARTYNEXTDOOR was always not going to be met with massive support.
Yes, the die-hard Drake fans will show love to the album but the general public/casual fans, who make up the bulk of his listenership base, won't care for this album and that's to be expected.
I'm just glad the point I was making about this album from weeks ago is being proven now
I think most people are tired of the beef especially bc drake lost he either has to come back hard to get the general ppl attention or not at all
150K is drastically low for an album that debuted with 28M US streams on Spotify
It all depends on how well its performing on other platforms tbh. That's what it boils down to.

Fair enough.
When is the "Drake flopped, GNX last week outsold" party? asking for a friend
Monday 4:30 PM after projections
Fair enough.
Me personally, I feel like if this album reminded people why they like Drake outside of being hard n the beef, it might’ve done a little better

Don’t we always say in here Drake performs better on Apple Music than Spotify?

Gimme a hug does that, but that’s basically the jimmy cooks type outlier of the album

I get what you saying. You saying he has to drop a good body of work that has no mention of the beef whatsoever
Vultures 1 really did more streams than this

In that case ppl will just pivot to “look at him throwing subs at these chicks but got nothing to say to the man that dissed him at the Super Bowl”

He does but as time as passed, that gap has shrunk. He doesn't perform that much better on Apple Music compared to Spotify now like say back around 2017-2019.

I wish Apple Music made their numbers public, it’s annoying that Spotify does but AM doesn’t

Or if he does mention the beef he has to back it up with him reminding us why he’s great. I feel like overall he just has to remind us why he’s Drake, and he’s failing to do so in anway
anticipating 220Kish for SSS4U.
which is great for a collab album with an artist that sells less than 40K solo.
Her Loss over preformed crazy, but in general collab projects always do less than the bigger artists solo
Can't be right
And vultures 1 release at 8 am on a Saturday
Now that we’re past the battle, I’m pretty interested to see how the 30+ year Prince/MJ dynamic between these two progresses from here
I think it’ll end up being the most iconic pop culture rivalry of all time tbh
And vultures 1 release at 8 am on a Saturday
VULTURES OUTSTREAMED? This is Drakes biggest L 😭
And vultures 1 release at 8 am on a Saturday
Not to mention that it was his first project after publicly declaring that he was a Nazi who loved Hitler
$$$4U debuting lower than that is kinda crazy lmao
Drake will always be Drake to us Drake stans but the general public is good off him now. Thats what used to push his music crazy. He doesn’t have it anymore.

They’ll battle with hits now and a song of them dissing each other on the same track one day lol
