I agree but I think Kendrick is out to prove that narrative that he's slow and can't put this s*** on his back wrong
He doesn’t strike me as the type to be consistent for the sake of it unless he’s really inspired but hopefully you’re right
At the very least I think we can confidently say the deluxe is otw
Frank said 5 albums before 30
We’ll have to wait and see if there’s any merit to that
To be fair, when Frank was revving up for another release COVID happened, and also family tragedy
I just remembered that leaked mv with Rosalia
Damn I completely forgot about the Frank Rosalia video

"we got the next 4 years" what does that mean

He did make them, he just aint put that b**** out yet! - His words

He turned 30 in 2017
Big Three goes like this:
Travis
Jack Harlow
Carti
I hope it can get better than that. Im dissapointed by the new gen. Either im getting old and out of touch or the new gen just cant deliver heat. Harlow got some nice songs tho. Travis got some heat but that is like fast food music.

Carti is just a lazy f***ing prick, hes capable of making really good music
Don’t think there is a big three beyond this point, Kendrick is atop the mountain but doesn’t have the consistent output nor the desire to be commercial enough to sustain what’s happening right now
It’s open season for new inspired artists to take control of the genre, good times are ahead
he’s gonna force a lot of music out to prove a point

This feels like DJ Hed is saying what he wishes to see happen as opposed to what will actually happen.
Drake and his team really need to push Nokia with a video or some. This s*** could be an organic hit

All the good picks are dead...

Like we’re dealing with one of the most unpredictable artists of our time I wouldn’t put any stock in what this guy has to say

It's not just hed. Everyone around him keeps saying that this is "just the beginning" and that there's "so much more in store". We'll see tho

DJ Hed is an unreliable narrator lol
Kendrick's next album will very likely be more introspective/thought-provoking than GNX. Everything he's done post GNX seems like it was geared towards him proving he could score hits whenever he wanted to and he's more than proved that with the GNX era. I doubt he doubles back again with another album doing the exact same thing because then he becomes the very thing he's accused Drake of being.
DJ Hed is a West Coast nigga who is reveling in seeing his guy on top. Of course he doesn't want it to end so he's gonna say whatever
My guess is Kendrick perhaps drops a GNX deluxe sometime within the next few months, finishes his tour and disappears for another 2-3 years.
he’s gonna force a lot of music out to prove a point
oh now it's "forcing music out"

Yeah, plus these niggas are pretty set in their ways at this point. Even though Cole became more active with features, he still remains an artist who drops a new studio album every 2-3 years. Drake will always be super active with new music as he's always been, and Kendrick will always drop one album that's more mainstream, followed by another that isn't. This is something even he himself has confirmed multiple times in interviews.
Out of all 3 of them, Drake has always been and will always be the most active with new music.

It has to get better than that lool out of all of these artists the only universally respectable one is Travis (I’m a Carti fan)
Judging by the recent success of Doechii, Tyler and Kendrick I think the market is demanding real artistry from hip-hop again
Any upcoming artist that is serious about the art would be a fool to see the conversation right now and not want to raise the bar
