cant tell if ur trolling but FATD had one of the biggest debuts on spotify for a rap album only behind CLB/Scorpion
Yeah... debut lol the streams went down pretty fast compared to CLB and Scorpion
I don't know about this, the streams went down pretty fast compared to CLB while the album was going crazy on AM
Drake is lucky because most of his fans and stans immediately went to AM during the Views era. He will always have good numbers on this service
On kworb (again not sure how reliable) he had 6978 points on AM, 2096 on Spotify a few days after FATD (3.3x difference)
With this he has 4950 on AM, 661 on Spotify (7.4x difference)
Yeah... debut lol the streams went down pretty fast compared to CLB and Scorpion
and $$4u had no debut on spotify it legit was DOA
im just saying this has never occured prior
the discrepancy is insane right now, to the point where he has to be getting over 80% of his streams for $$$4u from AM based on the projections

Thats crazy but it's also interesting how the points are 2k less on AM too
I just think people are over Drake at the moment on Spotify while, as I already said, most Drake stans are using AM so the drop isn't really all that crazy but it's still there (if it's reliable)
The discrepancy is certainly weird but I don’t think it’s a direct result of anything tangible. Conspiracy wise.

What's going on
What's going on
AM numbers are way up for drake compared to Spotify and we are debating if there’s any direct reason for that which correlates with the lawsuits/blackballing. I just don’t see it.
I think Spotify just said that they are going to do the bare minimum for Drake commercially moving forward but that’s it.

it has done fine on spotify, nokia and die trying have steadily risen every day since the album came out.
the difference in performances mostly comes down to genre preferences between the two services, which is more stark when it comes to artists like lil baby and rod wave. drake comparatively still does well on there, just not as amazingly as he does on AM.
I can't take people who talk about an "other side" seriously lol
Ok Hurry Up K dog
no cap, we need to have a non-trolling conversation about whats going on with apple music vs spotify tho
never in any drake release has there been this much of a disparity, its like the album doesnt exist on spotify but its still taking up 90% of the top 30 on AM
Carl Chery is putting up 96 Jordan numbers with the algorithm meddling over there

The way I've been getting bombarded with promo for this album on Spotify, I'd be hard pressed to think there's anything funny going on. And also, didn't he start off tight with Apple during the Views era? It shouldn't be shocking that his massive fanbase has a hold on Apple music, but it's also not like he's a slouch on Spotify either.
I hate local artists like Drake. Flop ass artist!
Why does he still have a successful career after a rap feud!?
Everyone knows Ether killed Hov mainstream success!

Honestly they just did the same marketing for $$$ just like they did with FATD

Yeah that was a point I made earlier itt too. He started off with the Apple deal right around when the streaming era took off. So it’s not surprising the bulk of his fanbase is using AM. He’s performed well on Spotify too. Still the most streamed artist on the platform if I’m not mistaken.
I say all this to say I agree with you.

Welp
We lost.

Maybe Drake losing his global appeal. I looked at the data from other US dominant artists, here is the breakdown:
Rod Wave: 24.9 to 1 Apple to Spotify Ratio.
Lil Baby: 11.6 to 1 Apple to Spotify Ratio.
Chris Brown: 11.1 to 1 Apple to Spotify Ratio.
Beyonce: 6.5 to 1 Apple to Spotify Ratio.

hoiw have you been getting bombarded? they didnt really do much for this, at least on my side
Honestly they just did the same marketing for $$$ just like they did with FATD
FATD had the banner though, and tweets. $$$ got none of that
I hate local artists like Drake. Flop ass artist!
this is the part that im really dead about because they literally announced no other artist he sold 135k tickets in a hour in the UK but hes lost global appeal
aye man whatever floats yall boat
