I can name 50 songs by him that are R&B or heavily R&B influenced. That would mean he doesn’t make just Pop music.

Saying a black artist who has made 50+ songs in another genre has to pick 1 genre when referencing their entire career is the same stereotyping you cried about ironically. You want to box in him 1 genre like they do, just not R&B lmao.

Therefore he is apart of and green lights all releases of his music.

He and his team ultimately decided that labeling his music R&B/Soul aligns with their view of his music overall.

You pointing out Pop songs shows, despite the labeling of his music, his music encompasses various genres.
