    Check date.

Oh wow. My bad. Could have sworn that tweet was dated to 2012.

Oh well, still, the tweet seems to be referencing what the album did in LA specifically. The album sold a total of 324k units in its first week in the US so not a flop by any means.

That tweet so interesting cause it show you how he secretly bitter af while preaching about being a humble guy. Why you getting mad at your fans instead of thanking them for your first week

Same energy when he was bein aggy about other rappers not congratulating him on getting a Super Bowl Half Time

It started cause Kendrick fans have been the ones who originated trying to compare his numbers to Drake lmao.

In 2017 it was “Damn outsold More Life oh wow” then during Scorpion it was “Drakes sales are now declining while Kendrick had his highest opening, his next album will surpass Drake’s”.

Discussions about numbers wouldn’t be anywhere near as toxic if it wasn’t for Drake Stans.

Ok, DAMN outsold More Life, great. Does that require toxic cope, excuses and fighting? Why is it so hard for yall to just take something at face value.

Y’all always act like any artist selling well that’s not Drake is murdering your family or something. And you damn well know it’s not just Kendrick. It’s Travis, it’s Abel, it’s Bad Bunny, whoever. Every single time.

That’s why people respond the way they do when Drake flops or gets outsold cause y’all set the stage

As a huge Drake fan you gotta respect the psychoanalysis of a 10 year old tweet not even from Kendrick

Lmao. The issue is the discussion would go from “sales don’t matter” when they didn’t like the data then suddenly ready to discuss how “damn outsold more life” when they did like the data.

Both sides were toxic and trollish but some people like you just absolutely refuse to admit it and pretend it was completely one-sided which is the issue.

Also it’s funny af cause again the other side also used any and everyone the could to bring down Drake sales when it was convenient. They were saying Post Malone replaced Drake, saying Bad Bunny replaced Drake, etc.

The anti-Drake fans also completely ruined sales talk because they could never just congratulate someone and their numbers without trying to push a narrative that would only create drama

They are both sensitive niggas. The only difference is Kendrick addresses it only via rap and Drake cries about it in interviews

  • We are not giving enough respect to TV Off for still being in the top 4

Because Drake is a social media nigga. He’s posting all the time. Kendrick isn’t so it’s easier to believe he had a manager or something run his account

His improvement in the live aspect has been so impressive. I saw him in 2015 and while it was a lot of fun, there was still a bunch of things missing from his game.

Drake stans were using the LA specific numbers to try and say Kendricks not really LA and that his album that was west coast af essentially failed. This was further fueled by drake linking up with Game on "100" and sending shots. Basically where the rumblings started that would eventually become "I get more love in the city that you're from" on pushups

Drake really expected LA niggas to take his side or at the very least stay neutral because he did a few songs for LA rappers back in the day lol

Bro confuses good business for actually being a brotherhood lol
