As a huge Drake fan I can burn “Best I ever had” on a CD for my first girlfriend, I can own multiple Drake vinyls, I can pay $1200 for Drake GA tickets but if I listen to and appreciate other artists I’m not really a Drake fan on ktt

Yall are making Drake fandom this exclusive club which is why he’s only selling 500 physical copies now

They literally act like the music world revolves around Drake. Most insane s*** I’ve ever seen

He did r&b, rap, pop, afrobeats, and dancehall. He also did a house album (I thought it was mid) and wrote for Beyonce on her house album.

    That’s the point.

If one of your examples for Drake being the most ubiquitous includes DIE TRYING because it’s “alternative”, you need to listen to more music

Song sounds like a Post Malone rough draft

He excels at Rap, R&B, and Pop.

I wouldn’t say he excels at Afrobeats and Dancehall, he dabbles in them with mixed results.

Most people hate that House album.

It’s an alright song, but you’re sitting here acting like it’s the pinnacle of alternative music simply because Drake made it. If a random alternative artist made that exact song you wouldn’t give it the time of day

His Afrobeats / Dancehall songs are extremely stale and westernized, please be serious

He’s no Burna Boy but he has a classic afrobeats record in one dance.

The Weeknd is more versatile musically than Drake is but that’s not a conversation you want to have

The Weeknd can do anything Drake can do besides rap

Drake can’t do half of what Weeknd does

And I would still never say The Weeknd is the most ubiquitous artist ever because that is insane

    Yes, one.

Like I said, he dabbles with mixed results. Not all of his attempts at Afrobeats & dancehall are good
