Niggas have just been mad that Drake fans have been excited about his longstanding success for some odd reason, but you don't remain the bestselling and the most-consumed rap artist every year for over a decade if you're releasing trash. Especially when you're someone like Drake who doesn't have a rabid fanbase who will blindly support whatever you drop and you rely on the GP for most of the support your music gets. If you're not dropping music that the masses are deeming worth their time, you're not putting those numbers up. That's just how it works.
Drake doesn't drop bad music. Never has. Especially when compared to how s*** the rest of the music the rap game stays pumping out is. The worst thing Drake can do is put out music that's not up to the high standard he's set with the music he's released in the past and even when he doesn't meet that standard, the music he drops is still great.
