Should be taken with a grain of salt (user is a known Drake hater but they're the one responsible for putting together the projections for Talk of the Charts).
He's losing them monthly listeners too.
He's down to 99.8M from 110M in just over a month. Drake on the other hand is down to 78.2M from 81.1M in the same timeframe.
https://twitter.com/HipHopAllDayy/status/1895896520660304252It’s almost like a major performance that was broadcast to 133M people happened in the middle of February that might’ve caused a short & fast spike in Kendrick’s monthly listeners count. Anyone remember what it was?
Please, don't insult homeless people by comparing them to that individual.
Please don’t insult me by using your deranged brain to make comments about me

not how this s*** works, songs take a while to rise
Gimme a Hug higher than Nokia rn on radio.
Carti had higher charting songs with probably 4x the streams but minimal radio play. Yall cant pick and choose.

Wrong and wrong
Gimme a hug is not even on pop radio where nokia just reached 33
Urban and ryhtmic does not matter for radio impressions they represent like 5-10% of overall radio base

Billboard is not weighing pop radio streams more than others.
If overall radio airplay is going up, format doesnt matter. And Nokia is growing there.

Bruh rythmic and urban radio is like saying ur #1 on amazon music and deezer
S*** does not matter
Pop radio is what matters for overall radio impressions

its not #1s though that we are counting. If a song is getting 1M streams in Amazon music, that s*** is no different than getting 1M streams on a different platform when it comes to counting streams for a cumulative charts.
The #1 Urban hit has almost 17 million impressions...... Rhythmic almost 12 million
The #1 Urban hit has almost 17 million impressions...... Rhythmic almost 12 million
Bruh u niggas have no idea what ur talking about
#1 on urban and rythmic netted gimme a hug with 20 mil impressions

You can get up to 80M audience impressions from pop ALONE. Back in the early to mid 2010s, the #1 song on pop radio was averaging 105-110M audience impressions lmao.

I swear these users nust started paying attention to charts since may 2024
They telling me pop radio impressions is similar to urban

I get that, but Urban and Rhythmic is a significant chunk. Too big to say it doesn't matter

Bro its not a “significant” chunk
#1 on BOTH RYTHMIC AND URBAN WILL GIVE U A TOTAL OF MAX 25 mil impresions
#1 on ONLY pop will give u up to 100mil impressions

Pop radio used to be so strong that if you were #1 on pop radio with 0 points from sales, you could still land a spot in the top 10/15 of the Hot 100 just off airplay points. They've reduced its strength since the pandemic but it's still BY FAR the most important radio format to be successful in.

No, they used to be somewhat significant. A decade ago, being #1 on Rhythmic and Urban radio could get you upwards of a combined 45-60M audience impressions. Today, you will barely get 30M audience impressions from being #1 on both formats. They reduced the strength of pop but then they also reduced the strength of other radio formats so the same rule applies.
Pop is still the strongest, most significant radio format.

That’s not the case right now though is what he’s saying.
#1 on Pop right now is only getting 34M impressions
#1 on Rhythmic and Urban combined right now is 26M

Yes but who is getting 100M impressions unless it's something that dominated the charts as well? You act like Nokia is getting blackballed. S*** is growing and its not a mega hit anywhere.
This is the airplay breakdown of all radio formats btw. Nokia is a sleeper hit. you acting like s*** is getting 3M+ streams on spotify daily and not getting radio play at all. It is and it's growing. Gimme a Hug reached close to 25M without pop. This should be able to get past that easy with growth and close to 40M which reflects the songs popularity.
